Choosing the right express tent is a decision that should consider the usage method and frequency, as well as the requirements for structural durability. At MITKO, we offer four models from the series of octagonal aluminum tents – Octa Go, Octa Optima, Octa Pro, and Octa Pro LED. While all are based on a sturdy aluminum profile and a quick setup system, they differ in terms of sophistication, technical parameters, and intended use.
Key information
- Octa Go is a lightweight tent with an aluminum profile of Ø 43 mm and aluminum connectors. It is best suited for smaller stands (from 1.5 × 1.5 m to 3 × 6 m) and where easy transport is essential.
- Octa Optima strikes a balance between mobility and durability. It features a thicker profile of Ø 48 mm, aluminum connectors, and an adjustable entrance height of up to 230 cm.
- Octa Optima comes in larger sizes (up to 6 × 6 m), weighing up to 98 kg. It can withstand winds of up to 100 km/h when using guy ropes and weights. The manufacturer’s warranty is 4 years.
- Octa Pro is the strongest model – with a profile of Ø 54 mm, aluminum connectors, steel triggers, larger feet, and an entrance height of up to 230 cm. It has been tested, among others, during the Dakar Rally.
- Octa Pro offers the highest wind resistance – up to 100 km/h with a securing kit. The manufacturer’s warranty is up to 5 years.
- Octa Pro LED is the Octa Pro version with integrated LED lighting in the frame. The adjustable light intensity makes it perfect for evening or night events.
- All models feature the Easy-Hold system, which facilitates the attachment of accessories.
Octa Go Tent – a reliable choice for beginners
Octa Go is the smallest and most portable model in the entire series. It stands out with its availability in very small sizes, making it a good choice for promotional stands, sampling, or as a complement to larger setups.

Available sizes for Octa Go:
- 1.5 x 1.5,
- 2 x 2,
- 2 x 3,
- 2 x 4,
- 2.5 x 2.5,
- 3 x 3,
- 3 x 4.5,
- 3 x 6,
The model is based on an aluminum structure with a profile of Ø 43 mm and aluminum connectors. Although it does not offer the option to raise the entrance to 230 cm, it provides three height adjustment levels. All variants are equipped with the Easy-Hold system, which facilitates the installation of lighting and heating directly to the structure without the need for additional brackets. The weight of the tent ranges from 23 to 47 kg depending on the size, and the warranty on the structure is 3 years.Octa Go tents are resistant to wind gusts of up to 50 km/h.
Octa Optima Tent – a balance between mobility and durability
Octa Optima is a tent that combines increased stability with mobility. It offers significantly larger sizes than Octa Go while remaining convenient for transport and assembly.

The largest available size is 6x6, allowing for coverage of up to 36 m², making Optima one of the most spacious tents in the offer. The structure is based on aluminum profiles of Ø 48 mm, has aluminum connectors, and provides wind resistance of up to 50 km/h. Tents in sizes 3x3, 3x4.5, and 3x6 are resistant to wind gusts of up to 100 km/h.
Octa Optima allows for raising the entrance to 230 cm, which can be particularly useful for vehicle access or presenting taller structures. The height can be adjusted at three levels. The Easy-Hold system is used for quick installation of additional accessories directly to its structure, such as lighting or heating, and the structural locks are based on steel triggers set in composite sockets. Optima is covered by a 4-year warranty.
Available sizes for Octa Optima:
- 3 x 3
- 3 x 4.5
- 3 x 6
- 5 x 5
- 6 x 6
Octa Pro – the most durable tent that passed the Dakar Rally test
Octa Pro is undoubtedly the most durable tent in MITKO’s basic offer. It can be described as a tent for special tasks – wherever greater resistance, large area, and reliability in difficult conditions are needed.

Thanks to thicker aluminum profiles of Ø 54 mm, aluminum connectors, enlarged feet, and solid locking systems (steel triggers in composite sockets), this tent withstands wind gusts of up to 100 km/h when using an additional securing kit. The structure also allows for raising the entrance to 230 cm for sizes 3x3, 3x4.5, and 3x6 m, and height adjustment in two or three levels (for sizes 4x4, 4x6, and 4x8 m).
The weight of the tent in this series can reach up to 91 kg for the size 4x8, but this is the price for solidity and durability. The warranty on the structure is 5 years. Octa Pro is a model that has been used multiple times, including at the Dakar Rally, which speaks volumes about its durability.
Available sizes for Octa Pro:
- 3 x 3
- 3 x 4.5
- 3 x 6
- 4 x 4
- 4 x 6
- 4 x 8
Octa Pro LED – all the best, plus lighting
Octa Pro LED is based on the Pro series structure but has been additionally equipped with integrated LED lighting. The LED strips are mounted directly in the construction templates. This ensures that the tent is evenly illuminated. The power supply allows for 2-level light intensity adjustment.

The technical parameters are identical to those in the Pro series: wind resistance up to 100 km/h with a securing kit, the ability to raise the entrance to 230 cm, three height adjustment levels, steel triggers, and a solid aluminum structure of Ø 54 mm. The structures are covered by a 5-year warranty.
Available sizes for Octa Pro LED:
- 3 x 3
- 3 x 4.5
Which model to choose?
The choice of model primarily depends on the user’s needs.
- Octa Go is suitable for small displays where compactness and ease of transport are important. It is a good choice for shorter events and moderate conditions.
- Octa Optima is a versatile tent that offers more possibilities, especially if you need a large space (up to 36 m²) and the option to raise the entrance. Ideal for mobile and outdoor applications, even in more challenging weather conditions.
- Octa Pro is the option for those who expect the highest durability and reliability. It performs well in difficult conditions, during multi-day events, and in situations where wind resistance and mechanical damage are crucial.
- Octa Pro LED is a proposal for those who want to combine the functionality of Pro with additional user comfort thanks to built-in lighting.

Entering 2026, event organizers are facing a period that is both genuinely exciting and increasingly demanding. Expectations are high – and coming from two directions at once. On the one hand, there is still a strong demand for live, in-person experiences. Relationships, emotions, and good energy simply can’t be fully replicated online. On the other hand, cost pressure is becoming more and more tangible. Budgets are being scrutinized more closely, and each event is increasingly expected to justify itself with measurable outcomes: sales, customer retention, community building, pipeline growth, or employer branding.
This is clearly reflected in the PCMA/Convene study. Nearly half of industry professionals openly admit they feel both excited and concerned at the same time. And the challenge that keeps coming back, like a boomerang, is cost. This mix of emotions has become the new normal in event marketing.
It is precisely from this tension – between ambition and economics – that the key trends for 2026 are emerging. Events are not meant to be less impressive. They are meant to perform. Visual impact and the “wow” factor still matter, but only when they genuinely support a specific goal, rather than becoming a goal in themselves.
At first glance, most pop-up tents look alike. Four legs, a roof, walls, quick setup. In practice, the differences show up only when the tent faces a real test. Stronger wind, frequent folding, long transport in a van or a season of daily use. That’s the moment when you find out whether you bought a durable pop-up tent or a construction that gives up after two events.
To spare you the disappointment, I’ve gathered seven elements that genuinely determine a tent’s durability. If you pay attention to them before buying, you get peace of mind for years to come.
At an event everything happens fast. People walk by, talk, look for friends or the next attraction. Your brand has only a few seconds to catch their attention. Exactly the amount of time described in Mel Robbins’ 5 second rule but here it is not about your action, it is about your audience’s reaction.
Whether someone notices your brand, stops to read your message or comes closer is decided in a split second. If you do not communicate why you are worth their attention in that moment, the opportunity is gone. That is why every advertising message, no matter the format or medium, has to work instantly. Literally in five seconds.
