A good advertising flag is not just a matter of aesthetics, but above all, durability and effective display of your logo. If you are looking for a model that won’t fold up after the first season, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we will show you what to really pay attention to when choosing an advertising flag.
How to choose an advertising flag that will last more than one season?
Since you’re reading this article, you’re probably looking for something durable. And rightly so, because while all flags may look similar from a distance, not every one is suitable for intensive, seasonal use. Here’s what to pay attention to if you care about durability:
Advertising Flag Material
Choose a strong polyester knit with a weight of at least 95 g/m² or 105 g/m² if you want even greater resistance. This material combines lightness with durability. It is tear-resistant, mechanically durable, and can withstand harsh weather conditions. If the flag is to be used indoors, such as during galas or in shopping malls, we recommend fire-retardant fabric OG 105 g/m², compliant with PN-EN ISO 6940 and 6941 as well as DIN 4102-B1 standards, often required by event organizers in enclosed spaces. Our flags meet these guidelines.
Masts
Now it’s time to pay attention to the mast. It is the backbone of the entire structure, so it must be durable, lightweight, and of course, rust-resistant. The best choice is an aluminum construction, which performs well in outdoor conditions. This makes the mast resistant to corrosion while being easy to transport and assemble. Its high resistance to wind gusts is also crucial. After all, the flag should proudly wave, not lie on the ground. It’s good if the aluminum is anodized, which further increases its durability and scratch resistance. Depending on your needs, you can choose a mast with a diameter of 20 mm or 25 mm – the larger the diameter, the more stable the structure, which is important for larger flags or in areas exposed to strong winds.
Printing
You must pay attention to the quality of the print. If you want a flag that will still look great after a few months, consider the printing method. For example, at MITKO, we print advertising flags digitally using sublimation, which allows for vibrant colors, sharp details, and full coverage. No streaks or smudges. Importantly, the print is exceptionally resistant to abrasion and UV radiation, so you don’t have to worry about the graphics fading or deteriorating after the first summer.
We also use inks that meet the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, meaning they are safe for health and free from toxic substances. In practice, you can be sure that the flag will not only be durable but also aesthetically pleasing for a long time. A very long time.
Where and how to set up the flag? How to choose the base?
The stability of your flag depends not only on the mast but also on proper anchoring. At MITKO, we offer two main solutions – a spike with a steel rotor for soft ground (e.g., grass, sand) and an Eco base with a Spino rotor (5.8 kg), which works well on both hard and flexible surfaces. The rotor allows the flag to rotate with the wind direction, reducing the risk of damage.
Which flag to choose: Rider, Hussar, or Flyer?
The choice of the right flag model primarily depends on where and how you plan to use it. If you are looking for a versatile flag that looks good both outdoors and indoors, and is easy to transport and set up quickly – the Rider is an excellent choice.

With its slim, slightly curved shape and a wide range of sizes (S, M, L), the Rider works well in spaces with limited room, such as at trade show booths, store entrances, or during outdoor events.
On the other hand, the Hussar features a more dynamic, curved line that draws attention even in smaller sizes.

Sizes S and M of this flag are perfect for display in front of service locations or in shopping malls.
If you want maximum advertising space and a strong visual impact, go for the Flyer, a teardrop flag.

This is the largest of our models, available even in an XL version with a height of up to 430 cm. With its wide, vertical format and full-color print, the Flyer attracts attention from a distance, making it an excellent choice for outdoor events, in front of trade halls, or along busy thoroughfares. However, it’s worth noting that the teardrop shape works best with round logos and graphics without a lot of text – in such a layout, it presents itself most clearly and aesthetically. If you want to include additional information, slogans, or extensive visual identification, the Rider or Hussar would be a better choice, offering a more proportional space for this type of communication.

At first glance, most pop-up tents look alike. Four legs, a roof, walls, quick setup. In practice, the differences show up only when the tent faces a real test. Stronger wind, frequent folding, long transport in a van or a season of daily use. That’s the moment when you find out whether you bought a durable pop-up tent or a construction that gives up after two events.
To spare you the disappointment, I’ve gathered seven elements that genuinely determine a tent’s durability. If you pay attention to them before buying, you get peace of mind for years to come.
At an event everything happens fast. People walk by, talk, look for friends or the next attraction. Your brand has only a few seconds to catch their attention. Exactly the amount of time described in Mel Robbins’ 5 second rule but here it is not about your action, it is about your audience’s reaction.
Whether someone notices your brand, stops to read your message or comes closer is decided in a split second. If you do not communicate why you are worth their attention in that moment, the opportunity is gone. That is why every advertising message, no matter the format or medium, has to work instantly. Literally in five seconds.
Internet or outdoor – where does advertising work more effectively? Social media allows for measuring results and accurately targeting audiences, but outdoor advertising still has one advantage: it stays in memory longer. In this article, we will examine studies that show how differently these two advertising worlds operate and why both still have their place in an effective marketing strategy.
