On December 9, 2023, the winter season in the Silesian Voivodeship was officially launched at the summit of Czantoria under the slogan Beskidy Winter GO. Our task was to organize an event space at an altitude of over 900 meters above sea level, in challenging winter conditions. The key challenge was to create a functional and attractive venue that would not only promote the region but also ensure comfort and convenience for the participants.

The start of the winter season in the Beskids and the promotion of the region as a great place for winter relaxation.
What did we do?
1. We organized the transport of equipment and promotional materials to the summit of Czantoria. This allowed for the efficient delivery of all the equipment elements, such as:
- 6 pop-up tents measuring 3x3 meters,
- tables and promotional materials,
2. At the summit, we set up tents that served as promotional stands. Each tent had a specific function:
- Tourist information area – participants could learn about attractions
- Gastronomy area – hot drinks with snacks
Results
Hundreds of people visited the stands, actively participating in the event. The canopy provided protection from the snow and served as a resting place for tourists.
The Beskidy Winter GO initiative was positively received by tourists, which contributed to strengthening the image of the region as an ideal place for winter relaxation.
Conclusions and Lessons for the Future
Organizing an event in the mountains required precise planning and efficient execution from us. We proved that even in challenging conditions, it is possible to create a space that combines functionality with aesthetics. Beskidy Winter GO demonstrated that the region has great potential as a venue for winter events.
Summary
The opening of the season at Czantoria was not only the inauguration of the winter season but also a showcase of organizational capabilities. Collaboration with the organizers and the commitment of our team ensured that the event was a success, and the participants were satisfied.
