In August 2025, MotoGP returned to Hungary after more than 30 years. The newly built Balaton Park Circuit hosted over 80,000 spectators during the race weekend. The venue included large fan zones, hospitality areas and sponsor spaces where promotional tents and event structures played an important role.
During the event, MITKO supplied several products including Jehlan tents, pop-up tents, and advertising umbrellas. These solutions created professional spaces for brand promotion while improving comfort for visitors.

A new destination on Europe’s motorsport map
Balaton Park Circuit is a modern 4.115 km race track, opened in May 2023 and located about 85 km southwest of Budapest, near the town of Balatonfőkajár. Contrary to the common association with the Hungarian capital, the race took place here rather than at the famous Hungaroring.
The weekend of August 22–24, 2025 brought competition in four classes: MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE. The main MotoGP race was won by Marc Marquez on Ducati. A total attendance of more than 80,000 spectators confirmed that the event immediately became a key venue for brands seeking broad exposure in the motorsport environment.
What did MITKO deliver to Balaton Park?
Three types of MITKO products appeared around the circuit and in the accompanying event zones:
Jehlan tents at MotoGP
Are easily recognizable thanks to their distinctive pyramid shape, which makes them highly visible even in crowded event areas. The roofs were made from UV-resistant fabric, helping reduce heat under the structure and providing protection from strong sunlight. Because of this, they are well suited for outdoor use during sports events, festivals and other large outdoor gatherings.
Pop-Up Tents for Event Promotions
Another important solution used during MotoGP were pop-up tents. These folding structures are widely used at events because they are quick to install and easy to transport.
A pop-up tent can be assembled within minutes without tools. This makes them ideal for large events where sponsor booths, information points and promotional stands must be installed quickly.
At Balaton Park Circuit, pop-up tents were used as sponsor stands, visitor information points and promotional spaces within the event area.
Advertising Umbrellas in Hospitality Areas
During the hot August race weekend, advertising umbrellas also played an important role. They were mainly used in food zones and VIP areas.
The umbrellas were equipped with UV-resistant fabric, providing shade and protection from intense sunlight. Because of this, umbrellas are a practical solution for outdoor hospitality areas at sports events, festivals and promotional activities.

Why Promotional Tents Work Well at Motorsport Events
